I took these photos around Quirindi NSW where my parents live. Hence the sheep...

The Ledge on the Sea

We waste so much energy our lives and our props the ocean mocks how futile these things are by devouring the rocks leave your humanity here on the ledge overlooking the sea the smoothed enclaves the boom and crash the history of stone like an exposed bone worn and weathered by the crack of the lash you hold these thoughts like talismans close to your chest even though you have no need for such things ... through your body vibrations move like water the waves burst over the stones the black of the reef exposed by white foam

2009 student exhibition - my ceramic pieces

Titled Full Fathom Five after the quote from Shakespeare's Tempest, this work is inspired by shipwrecks and skeletal forms. I love the way the sea corrodes and reclaims man-made forms merging them with nature and giving them nuances of meaning.
